Year round events including Ultra trail running events. Also the Verbier Bike Park opened to the public July
2006 and is open until mid September. Summer brings the Verbier Festival & Academy
hailed as one of the leading international music festivals in the world.
And of course there's the skiing, which is fabulous.

Gimmerlwald
Enter a different world. Gimmelwald is a small dairy farming
village high in Swiss Alps. The scenery is gorgeous
with mountains surrounding and views of the Eiger. The village
consists of about 130 of the friendliest people. There are no cars
or TV's, no newspapers, and not even a food store. There are cows and
there's plenty of cheese. The only way to get to Gimmelwald is by hiking
or taking a cable car. You may have a tough time wanting to
leave this little slice of heaven.

of the Eiger. Take a cable car to the Eiger from the valley floor
for a fun day. Nearby town, Murren, is ideal if you're traveling
with kids. Great skiing, great food like fondue, chocolate and
cheese. The Murren sports hall has a heated swimming pool for some
indoor relief from the cold.
